Can you smell it? I can. It’s the smell of our first Beer and Blog Seattle getting closer and closer.

We’ve already crossed a major milestone. That’s right. We opened up the Beer and Blog Seattle Twitter account. Get excited!!

Speaking of here. Which we were, and are once again. I want to start a thread here to collect your ideas for content. Each time we get together there will be a theme for the conversation. We’ll likely even have an expert each time on the theme itself. To be sure we cover topics the blogging community here in Seattle is interested in I wanted to give you the opportunity to contribute your ideas.

I invite you, in the comments to share with me and the rest of the community items you would like to see us cover in future Beer and Blog meet-ups. They can be technical in nature, more related to content, or we can even cover some more philosophical concepts if that’s what your heart so desires. It’s up to you!

Well hello there! Kristy here – just wanted to stop by and give a quick update on Beer and Blog Seattle for all of you out there who are interested.

I’m now in the process of putting together our first meet-up. Time and date to be announced soon.

What I’m most concerned with is ‘place’ at this point. I want to find somewhere in the Seattle area (close-in) that is of course beer-centric as well as blogger friendly. I’m in conversation with a couple different establishments in the area right now but if you know of any businesses that would be particularly interested please do contact me!

I’m hoping to get something worked out so we can have a standing location every month. If not then a couple/several to alternate between. However that works out keep your eyes open. We should be having our first event within the next month or so.

If you’re interested in helping that of course is also always welcome!
